My journey begins in Chiapas, where a group of Maya artisan women make me using double-cross stitch embroidery and colorful cotton strings. After a month's work, I am sent to the city of Leon where our workshop of artisans put the final touches on me to make me functional, trendy and unique for you. I am then sent to sunny San Diego, CA to spread the love for the craft of my artisans and bring awareness and appreciation to the Vive Artisanally movement.
